A common, severe freeze in Episode 4 of Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series occurs during the scene where Drax and Groot remove mini-worms from the ship. This issue appears to be a progression-blocking glitch, often reported on Steam discussions as happening right after the large worm escape, causing the game to lock up.

Common Troubleshooting Steps:
Verify/Validate Game Files: For PC users, using Steam to verify file integrity is the most common fix to ensure no corrupted files are causing the crash.
Restart the Scene: Relaunch the game and try to play through the scene again, as it may be a temporary script failure.
Lower Graphics Settings: Temporarily lowering graphical settings (shadows, resolution) during the problematic cutscene may allow it to pass.
Close Background Applications: Ensure no other applications are consuming resources.

If these do not work, it is likely a bug in the episode's coding that may not have a permanent user-side fix.

Found this from the steam forums and it worked for me and a bunch of others

I went to Graphics and firstly made it windowed mode, then turned Anti-Aliasing off, made my Texture quality High (was on Medium) and lastly made my Render Quality High (was Low). After doing all that and trying to continue Episode 4 again it did the trick for me. It still froze at the same moment, but just for a second and then it continued normally. Hope this helps someone.

Оказалось что когда бабки большие пошли, их энтузиазм тоже поугас.
Они разосрались - и первый стал пилить технологии без игр, второй - игры без технологий.

Начал Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, чет так себе, но думал добить. И вот в четвертом акте, когда убегаешь от червя - зависон и все, дальше ни вылета, ни отвисона
