нагуглил тут темку на иностранном форуме Эпиков (т.е. там исключительно фанаты гирзов, никаких хейтеров и т.д.)

вот коммент который кратенько описывает моё отношение к обеим частям:

It discarded the essence of Gears 1 in favor of gunfire. It discarded the industrial style in favor of a more organic one. It discarded the Kryll. It discarded the feeling of wonder. Gears 1 had a better campaign."

вот от чего лично мне 1-ая часть понравилась больше. В голосовалке там все же победили геов2, но с оч маленьким превосходством
